I cannot recommend this company more highly. My husband had just been hospitalized with a rare and dangerous heart infection. Our little dog went to stay at the home of our daughter, her husband and kids. I thought “At least I don’t have to worry about the dog.” I know they love that little doggie, too. And then … the groomer discovered fleas on our dog. I did not dare vent to my husband. He was too sick. I sat in my car and sobbed. Luckily, we knew of Affordable Termite and Pest Control. They were able to work both our houses in for flea fumigation the next day. And their guy was kind, efficient and reassuring. I got teary-eyed again, this time from relief and gratitude. Sometimes a company is MORE than a business. Sometimes it’s the nice guy helping out, the neighbor we all want to have. (My husband is improving, the dog is flea-less. And I am so grateful.) Look no further! This company has served us over the past couple years with our country home, which has needed a fair amount of pest support (spiders, rodents, carpenter bees, wasps, termite prevention). We couldn't be happier with their service. The techs are knowledgable, friendly, and professional, particularly a tech they call Skippy, who has been our tech on more than one occasion and has taken the extra time to educate us about our situation. Pest damage can be stressful and tricky, and these guys not only do a great job, but they actually care about their customers. To top it off, their rates actually are affordable (unlike some bigger companies). We have had a handful of experiences with other contractors that were not ideal, and it's so relieving to know that this area is covered by people we can trust.

This crew can fight bugs better than the Men in black. I got lucky and had Courtney as my tech she was on time made the elderly residents comfortable. Cracked a few dad jokes, and answered everyone's questions. She emitted professionalism and knowledge in here field and was fun to have around. We've been using Affordable Termite and Pest Control for a little over a year now. My husband and I moved into a cabin last year and had YES! Pest come in to spray for ticks and carpenter bees only - it was $500, the guy was in our yard for 15 minutes and also asked to pee in our yard. When I called them they mansplained to me how spraying for bugs worked.
We immediately switched to Affordable Termite and Pest and haven't looked back. Austin got us set up on their quarterly plan ($149/session) and they come out every quarter spending a good 45 minutes to an hour (the first session was almost two hours!) and are incredibly thorough. They took care of ant nests, mud daubers, a fly problem, carpenter bees. The price also includes free return visits in between sessions - so we’ve had them come out to treat wood roaches, carpenter ants and additional carpenter bee sprays - turns out if you live in a house made of logs, every critter wants a nibble!
We also had them come in the spring to spray for ticks and mosquitos, which is separate from the quarterly, but included two treatments and knocked out all of our tick problems. And we live out in the woods. We have a puppy and they used natural products so she could go outside within 20 minutes after spraying.
Most recently we had a bed bug scare (I had over 100 mystery bites - now thinking an allergic reaction, and my hubs had about 10 bites), Austin came out with a partner and looked through every area they could be across all three floors of our house. He made it clear as he went along what he was seeing (or not seeing), explained where we would get them and when he found no evidence of bed bugs he explained what we would’ve seen, what to look for and what behaviors would’ve brought them in. He also left us with a bunch of sticky traps for ease of mind.
I’m not sure if Austin’s the owner or manager, he’s the one who got us set up and handled our bigger needs, but whoever is at the top you can see the care and attention to detail trickle down to every staff member. Every person they've sent out has been professional, thorough, friendly and knowledgable. Highly recommend across the board!

I've used this company for 15 years. I have them on contract and they come quarterly, plus in between at no extra charge if there's an insect emergency. I couldn't ask for a kinder, more professional group of people. And, their products are safe for pets. They've dealt with ant and wasp issues at the house more than once. And, they really are affordable!

Great company! Every one of the technicians is kind, professional, and environmentally conscious. Everything that they use is human and pet safe. Each decision is about keeping animals and insects happy but out of your house. We just had Skippy (Matt) stop by for a routine inspection and as always, it was a good experience.

We've had our quarterly maintenance agreement with them since we bought out house. We also have a termite annual agreement from the previous owners that we keep in place. If you want to live in your house for more than a couple of years, just add them to normal cost of home ownership and you won't regret it.
