Do Not Use This Service - Deceptive and Unreliable

I have had issues with this company from the very beginning, starting with the initial quote. I was told they would install bait boxes for rodents and treat both the interior and exterior of my home for rodent and pest control. The representative assured me they would take care of everything 100%.

After signing the contract, I received a call informing me that I would need to pay an additional $2,500 exclusion fee to seal up holes. This seemed outrageous, especially when another company did it for just $500.

Despite my reservations, I continued the service since I had already paid the initial $224, which I believed was for the bait boxes. Seven months later, I received an email notifying me of a charge for pest services, which seemed strange because no one had contacted me. I checked my cameras and confirmed that no service had been performed at my property.

When I called and spoke to a manager, I was told they typically don’t treat the interior (even though I was told they would when I signed up), and that the initial $224 was just for treatment—not the bait boxes as I had been led to believe. The manager also claimed they never placed bait boxes outside, which is confusion. So you’re telling me $224 for just a spray treatment The contract itself is garbage. I’m also confused as to why I was paying $124 quarterly for them to just treat the exterior. If there are no bait traps to check, does spraying alone really cost $124?

The entire experience has been full of lies and misrepresentations. This company is deceptive and untrustworthy. Save yourself the headache and avoid them at all costs.

UPDATE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE:

The owner is missing the point. I understand that exclusion comes at an additional cost, but this should have been addressed before the contract was signed, not afterward. Before signing, I was assured that these issues would be resolved without any problems and no additional treatment/work is needed. Now, after signing, I’m told I need to pay for exclusion.

Additionally, the owner’s response about treating the inside of the home doesn’t align with my experience. During my call with the manager, I questioned why I was charged the full price for a service when 1) the technician didn’t handle the exterior as stated in the report, and 2) I was never contacted to arrange interior treatment or check the traps. The manager said they don’t go inside to treat, so what exactly am I paying $124 for? What happens to the indoor traps that I was promised they would check quarterly?

Lastly, I have yet to receive a refund and am still waiting for an email confirmation of it. To reiterate, the technician claimed to have serviced my house, but my exterior cameras show otherwise!! LIES LIES LIES

The initial contact was and is great. He was very thorough. He sent photos of the areas that needed attention. However, after that it hasn't been great. The guy I scheduled with was very nice and took extensive notes on how to get in the house, etc and that I am an out of town owner. They came and did service, never checked in with me to say they arrived, left or finished. No pictures of the work done was sent. I only knew they showed as I receibed a bill the next day in my email that was rather vague and did not show any details. I called and asked for proof of work and the gal said she would have someone call me. No one called that day (no biggie), but the next morning they charged my cc for $1950, which I do not appreciate as I asked to see verification of the work being done to my satisfaction first. Just called to ask for someone to contact me. Seems like this is a big company and don't know if the customer service will be there. I literally got a call one day saying they were coming to do my pest service and I was like who are you? Apparently, they bought out the small local pest service I was using that I trusted and felt really good about entering our rental property. Not sure I love this.

Great service from Lookout Pest! They did a free home inspection, looking for anything around the house that needed repair. Thankfully, we're in good shape.
They went extra mile for us, and we appreciate it! 10 stars!

Bryan came out right before our baby shower to take care of our usual mosquito problem. They’re really terrible because we live right next to the Johnson Nature Preserve and a creek bed runs through it. Exit polls showed no mosquito bites as folks left the shower. Bryan was polite to our mother in law and did a great job thoroughly getting the job done!

Today was my first service with Lookout Pest Control. I'll share that over the years I have had "umpteen" pest control companies.

These folks are professionals. I could not be more pleased with the service. Jason spent a lot of time getting to know the property & my preferences. There was pest & mosquito control applied. I am absolutely comfortable with this company and I know I made the right choice in switching to Lookout Pest Control. If you're not happy, make the switch!

Ken was the service tech who came out to our house to perform our initial pest control service. Since this was the first service I asked him if I could shadow him around the property in case I had any questions regarding the treatment. He was very kind and accommodating. He had no issues answering any questions I had and helped put me at ease with the service that they were providing. We had been seeing too many ants around the house for our liking and he addressed those questions without a problem. He was very professional and knowledgeable.
