Exciting day. We discovered a bees nest in a wall cavity of our house. My son heard them on the other side of the sheet rock in his bedroom. Lee, our brave pest control heroine from Nature's Way Pest Control attacked and conquered! She estimated 20,000 yellow jackets given the size. This company was responsive and Lee was professional (as well as insanely brave!!). Thanks Lee!

I did not have a good experience with Natures Way. I signed up with them when I first moved to Vermont - for pest control and to do a "attic clean out" - clean out, sanitize and put in new insulation - which cost a total of $5,600. In terms of pest control, I was never at home when the technician would arrive, so I would only get notes as to what they treated. I did have a conversation with Dustin early on regarding the 2 wasps nests that were quite high up - he informed me they would spray it and/or remove the nest. Months later, I still had a wasp problem. I had guys over doing some work on the house and wasps were everywhere. I immediately called Natures Way to see if they could come out and the first thing out of the womans mouth who answered was something along the lines of "your past due on your payment" and then told me they would not send someone out until I paid. ( I think the total due was $65? - not sure but it was minimal) I apologized, told her I was not aware that I owed anything but she just reiterated that no one would come out until it was paid. Her tone was abrasive and offputting. Her priority was securing the payment, not the fact that I had been paying them to treat wasps for months now and yet still had a very active wasp problem. I called back the next day and asked to speak to the owner. I believe I spoke to a woman named Brittany - I made it clear I was not a happy customer. I never recieved a call from him.
So I decided to go with another pest control company. Their technicians climbed into the attic and basically told me that the " attic clean up" job that was done, was not sufficient. The R50 settled should be 13.5" and mine was at 8". The rafters should also be covered however, they are not. I am by no means an expert on cellulose insulation, I am just reiterating what another pest control company told me. I have since moved out of Vermont but would not recommend Natures Way to any of my friends in NY or VT.

***UPDATE - I just read Natures Way response and need to point out a few things.
1) The techinicans from the other pest control company did NOT bash your work. They were very professional and simply pointed out, after looking at the contract details you sent over, as to the flaws in the job. Do YOU think cellulose settlement at 8" is adequate?

2) My neighbor was present when I made the call re: the wasps (which you failed to comment on ) and I was NOT transferred to a manager. That is absolutely untrue. Your 'notes" that you keep referring to, in response to me and to others who have left negative reviews, are not accurate.

I noticed a bunch of new reviews that came in today - one from a Dustin Langworthy - doesn't he work for Natures Way? I believe he was my technician at the time - yes, acutally, his name is right on my invoice. Isn't that misleading the public?

My review was not done out of anger - I simply have not had the time to sit down and write it until now. The feedback from the other company was given soon after I ended service with you.

We’ve used their services twice this summer. Once on bugs at our apartment building and another time on a yellow jacket nest at our house. So professional and thorough. Answered all questions about products and methods patiently. Pests are all gone!

We love working with Lee from Nature's Way! She is awesome -- professional, knowledgeable, and super friendly. She has made dealing with our carpenter ant problem a very pleasant experience. And -- most importantly -- whatever she is doing works! We have not seen any ants since a few days after her first visit. Lee did a great job of assessing our problem, prescribing a solution and getting us started. Lee has been servicing our house for a month shy of 2 years at this point. I always look forward to Lee's sincere interest, knowledge, and problem solving abilities demonstrated every time she comes. Lee takes the time to make her job a relationship.

I am very happy with my experience at Nature's Way Pest Control. Their customer service on the phone and in person during the actual appointment was very professional. They were able to schedule an appointment right away for me when I called and they have been willing to work with my schedule for follow up appointments. The tech, Jen, also took the time to point out a small leak in my basement that I did not see which I was very grateful for. I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I was very impressed with Josh - he was prompt, professional, and thorough in executing the ant treatment I needed . Josh was also knowledgeable and happy to explain the treatment process. I shared that my schedule was unpredictable, Josh assured me that he would do his best to be flexible with setting appointments- and he did.
