Super aggressive sales tactics. Beware.

Just look at the manner in which the owner passive aggressively responds to EVERY review. Gross.

They claim to have this “Small Hometown Business” feel but in reality you get treated like any large corporation.

Haven't seen the owner in the 2 years since I signed up. I texted him a few times and got no response.

We have a mouse problem in the garage and no matter how many times I mention it’s an issue the tech just kinda tosses some traps around and then there’s no follow up or anything.

Kind of a hassle to cancel service. It was like 8 emails back and forth. That’s a sure way to make me never want to come back. ?‍♂️

UPDATE: So when I cancelled they told me a tech would be coming by to pick up our traps. They oddly said that someone over the age of 18 needed to be present.

As I suspected the guy that came to pick up the traps started asking a bunch of questions about why I wanted to cancel. Then he got mad and got an attitude with me when I refused to talk to him. He actually was quite aggressive and we got into an argument. I work from home and he was taking time away from my work so I just wanted him to get his traps and leave.

I'll post the video of it from my security cameras so you can decide if you want this company's employees on your property.

Had Uriel come out and take a look at my place. The guy was amazing! He knew what he was talking about and gave me an honest opinion about what services he believed I would need. He was easy to work with and very friendly. Would recommend to friends and family.

BUYER BEWARE!! First, you are in reality, payiny $600.00 for 6 treatments since it's divided into $50 payments for 12 months and they only come every other month. A couple of those treatments will be in winter when there are no bugs. Second, it does not work on flying bugs or wasps. They talked me into it by telling me they would take care of the wasps but all they really do is look for the nest and remove it. If they can't find the nests, the wasps remain. You can definitely do that yourself. Find the wasp nest and remove it. Third they advertise that they will come back and respray, but they have so many conditions.It's hard to have them do it.
Forget canceling, because the cancellation policy is 30 day written notice and then you pay for the remaining months of the contract without getting any treatments! I recommend getting a bottle of home defense for $30 and doing it yourself. I have been reaching out to them from the very beginning and got nowhere so that is why I finally wrote this review

Our technician was so informative and helpful! We felt comfortable and confident Obex will be our company for pest control services for years to come! Also, it’s quality service for an affordable price! We have a high spider population out here and for us it’s important to keep them at a minimum if not at none. Which we haven’t seen any since our first service so it’s working especially in the basement! No one likes waking up with spider bites in the morning! Even if they aren’t poisonous. We also got mosquito services to reduce their population around our backyard! Not to mention the wasps that like to nest in our bushes and trees and are a hazard when doing yard work! The services are great!

We are in a plan with OBEX. They come out every 3 months and clear the wasp nests and big spiders. And they just came to drop bait for a mouse problem we suddenly have. Always professional. Always a great job. Highly recommend.

I just wanna share with Everyone that OBEX is a great pest control company. They do an excellent job and their staff is very efficient. The staff came to my door and notified me that they were here to take care of the pests around our home. He said they were here to our yard he was very efficient made sure that all the cobwebs are down and that the chemicals that they use which are not harmful to animals was completed by him self after he completion, he notified me that he was done. OBEX is a great company with great staff. I highly recommend them.
