Paid them up front for four applications of insecticide to deal with Silverfish. First appointment postponed and unclear communication as to when that date/time would be.

Showed up for the second appointment as scheduled.

Didn't show up for the third appointment with no communication that they wouldn't, having taken time off work that day to let them in etc I chased the manager all day with no response. Rang the office and was told another manager would be back to me which didn't happen. Demanded a refund and rang Ultimate Pest Control who came out the following day and again for another scheduled appointment two weeks later.

Avoid like the plague, worst communication and customer service I have experienced. The only positive I can think of is that the office issued the refund within the week.

When I contacted Rentokil on Friday in connection with a wasp infestation in a house where I care for 2 older people they were very understanding and actually managed to call out that afternoon even though they were very busy .
A very nice guy contacted me on his arrival by phone as I had left the property at that time and talked me through what he intended to do to treat the problem.
On finishing the job he rang me once more to let me know what he had done and gave me instructions going forward if the problem was nt resolved.
The guys name was Kamil and he could nt have been more helpful .

My mum bought a new house and some nice got in during the move. Of course needed to get this sorted asap. We paid in advance for her, bit pricey for three visits but the sales guys were very good, said it would be the proper job, and they'd seal up any gaps the mice could get in. After it was paid it took a few days for whatever joker of a contractor these guys use to come out. Didn't get rid of them. Told us we had to go fill in the gaps. Nearly €400 paid, two visits, no help, nice still there. One visit to go but they haven't done anything except tell my mum to fill some gap but shur she hasn't a clue how to, this is what they're being hired to do! Madness. Avoid this company, they actually don't do the job at all.

I want everyone to know how happy i am with the help i received from Rentokil both on this occasion with a rat that got in through a pipe into my house and for a previous cockroach infestation that i had in an investment property that was rented out. they provide an exceptional, speedy, friendly and most importantly 100% effective service from initial contact to resolution. I would not even consider checking prices with anyone else. when it comes to rats or cockroaches, there is no better company.

We engaged Rentokil over a month ago to get rid of some mice in our house. We are a month later, €345 poorer but our cat just caught a mouse in the sitting room and we can hear them under the floorboards and in the attic. If anything the problem has gotten worse since we engaged Rentokil. They eventually sent another company out to quote to fill gaps but we're still waiting for the quote never mind a date to complete the work. I'm going to the hardware now to try to fix the problem myself, I wish I'd kept my money and done it myself in the beginning. I would not recommend Rentokil to anyone. They have really let us down.

Avoid. Rang and paid for pest control on a Monday. Was informed somebody would call me later/tomorrow to arrange a visit. Received a call on Thursday to say they couldn't make it until Monday at 11 a.m. Person didn't show up. I rang and spoke to Caleigh who I requested to make a refund. She said she would call me back when the request had been made. No call back. I called on Wednesday and spoke to Denise. Told me the request for a refund had been made. She didn't seem to care too much that this was the second time in a row someone from RentoKil couldn't be bothered to contact me. Useless service and useless customer service. Avoid.

Most unhelpful service. Would not listen to the real problem. Very negative attitude by man who called to house. Ended up walking out on us without doing anything.

We got a full refund but the purpose of this review is to avoid this service at all costs.

Shocking company. Took my money 563.71 euros for 3 visits. Only turned up for one visit. Trying to get money back on card now.
